Advertising.com launches data capture site
Offerzoo.co.uk, a customer acquisition website, is being launched by performance-based marketing specialist Advertising.com.
The site represents a marketing community offering consumers the chance to win prizes and take up offers, in exchange for completing simple questionnaires about themselves and their buying habits.
It is being promoted via the Advertsiing.com network, comprising Web, Search, Email and affiliate marketing, which has so far generated around 140,000 members for email, postal, telephone and SMS marketing.
Offerzoo operates a double opt-in registration for security reasons. Because it requires response from a delivered email, it generates a more responsive database than the single opt-in method generally used in the UK according to its owners.
Kate Toon, Offerzoo product manager says, "We have a particularly good reach into the 25-45 age bracket and more than 60% of our members are women, who are often harder to reach online."
Nick Chapman, business development director of Advertising.com comments: Offerzoo represent sa great opportunity for us. It makes use of all our existing models and gives us an additional delivery channel for our clients."
